When I started my credit repair, I went to "many" different credit repair sites. Some were terrible, some were no help, but I had finally found a couple good ones that I've learned alot from (one in particular).

Don't use a site that charges you for their info on credit repair, you can find the same things and probably more on other sites.

I'm listing the best site that I had found.

You can't. There is no LEGAL way to remove true things from your credit report. This means that if you haven't paid a bill and it's been reported to a credit agency... you're stuck with it until it comes off... about 7 years. However, if you happen to have things on your credit report that are untrue you can dispute them. There's no quick fix on this though. Even disputing something on your credit report it can take years to clear it. Best thing I can reccomend is to pay off any debts you have, focus first on the ones that aren't behind yet... then start on the ones that are already black marks on your report. After you've done this start taking out small loans and paying them off in a few months. Or get a credit card and pay it off every month. It'll take you a couple of years to do it but eventually you'll be in reasonable shape. I filed bankruptcy about 3 years ago and now have a credit score over 700. I can get just about any loan at any rate even though I have the bankruptcy. The one thing to remember though is that there is no website or law firm out there that can fix it for you. Don't pay any money for any help.

You need a special credit rebuilder credit card.

It is called a "secured" credit card because it is attached to your bank account.

The U.S. Bank Secured Visa ® Card -
All you need to do is send the bank a cashier's check, a certified check, or a money order with your credit card application (from $300 to $5,000) to open a savings account. Then, once you're approved, they will send you a credit card. Your credit line will be the same amount as your deposit. It looks and works just like any other credit card when you use it at a restaurant or store.

Your deposit is used to open a savings account which assures your credit card can be paid. The money in your savings account is there to "secure" your credit line. The money in your savings account is FDIC insured and won't be touched as long as you make all of your credit card payments on time and your account remains open. Plus, you will earn interest on the money in your savings account.

Your purchases are billed to you each month. Payments are not automatically deducted from your savings account. You are responsible for making at least your minimum payment by the due date each month.

Once you've demonstrated good credit habits with a secured card, you can qualify for a better card.

Order your credit report from each of the credit reporting agencies. Then, dispute untrue things on your credit report. A company only has limited time to answer dispute, if do not answer, it must be removed.
Next, a realtor told me to dispute everything and see what comes back. IT can only get better....smile
You can do it yourself without paying for anything but the credit report. AND if you were denied credit recently, you can ask for a report free from that agency.

ME...I hope this helps.
