I think if you play too hard to get it makes the guy lose interest. But I've read books where they say that playing hard to get actually makes the guy want you more.

Don't play games. Do what feels right for you, be honest. Have fun. Don't always jump when someone that you are dating decides he has time for you, keep your life full too. If you are worth enough to him, he won't wait until he is finished with everything/everyone else before he fits you in, he will make time for you first.
