The first time I noticed the bleeding was at her last cycle (about 3 months ago). The other day I went in her bathroom and noticed that there was a lot of what I thought was hairball mess. I cleaned it up and went to find her. I did not find her until much later in the day. When I picked her up and looked at her underside she was covered in diariea (excuse the spelling) and blood. I cleaned her up and cut the hair at the back to help her stay clean and have been keeping a close eye on her. She is very thin now and sleeps most of the day. She prefers to be in the garage (which is closed) or the patio (which is screened in). I live in Florida so both of these areas are very warm. I keep an eye on her, make sure she has water and food and a cat box near and clean her as often as she needs. She does not seem to be eating or drinking that I notice. She does purr loudly when I pick her up, come near, or brush her.

I know she needs to see a vet, but right now it is not possibl

If she is purring, she is in pain. Take her as soon as possible.

I am very sorry to hear about your cats sad condition. Unfortunatly Persians are not the toughest of cat breeds. When they get sick they often need a great amount of care to recover.

Cats don't bleed as part of their heat cycle, dogs can but cats do not.

You should be force feeding her. Make a slurry of canned cat food and Ensure. Make it smooth enough that you can get it into a syringe - you can buy them at the pet stores for feeding - and feed her small amounts several times daily. I don't know that this will help her too much at this point, but it cannot make things any worse.

If you have a feed store in your area - stores where they sell large animal supplies and stuff, you may be able to get some fluids to give her some under her skin. If this is an option for you let me know and I can find you some directions online to show you how to give them to her.

Taking her temp may also be helpful. It needs to be done rectally with any thermometer you have. A normal temp is between 99.5 -102.5. If she is lower than that you should provide her with something to keep her warmer. If she is higher than that you can get her wet to help her cool down some.

Please feel free to contact me for help if you want, obviously she really needs to be seen by a vet, as over the internet nobody can diagnose her, but if you can't get her there I am more than happy to do what I can to help you help her as much as possible.

I am sorry to hear that, but it is a good bit of advice. Thank you. I think your poor meow is very ill. I don't know what you can do for her other than provide her with comfort and feed her lots of water. Make sure that she is pooing. If you think that she has a tummy that is very raw then feed her egg whites (boiled, no yolk) mixed with cooked rice, and a bit of cod liver oil like a half teaspoon for taste. This should help her tummy some. If she doesn't get her appetite back in a day or so, get her to a vet and work out a payment plan with him. She could die if she loses too much weight.

If you can't take her to the vet, find someone who can! Something's not right with her, and it could be very treatable if you get her in ASAP.

Oh..I know some of our cats bled on their cycles. My mom was trying to get pictures of them for some "beautiful cat contest" or something and she was using a box with satin to pose them and the one cat got blood all over it. Most of them keep that area super clean so their human parents don't realize they are bleeding.

Jesus...If you can't get her to a vet, get her to a Humane Society and give her up. She may be put to sleep, but you can't offer her anything better!!!!!
If cats do not eat for even a short period of time, they can get Fatty Liver Disease and die a horrid death. You owe her SOMETHING!!!!!!!
You have a computer and internet access, so sell something and at least get her put to sleep if you can't treat her!!!!!!!!!

There is no excuse to let her suffer!!!!!!!

It is sad that she isn't spayed yet either!!!!!!!! Hope she doesn't have a pyometria!!!!!!!
