Do you believe wind is real?

I understand exactly how you feel. You want to authentically believe in something with an honest faith. Not blind faith. The best place to start is at a place of honesty. You do not necessarily have to believe in Jesus. Start with what you do believe in. If you believe in God start there. If you believe in yourself start there. If you believe in what you see, feel, hear, touch start there. Once you are at that beginning point, you can then start asking yourself more questions about your own reality and what is true for you and no one else. And guess what....Jesus is recorded in history as and actual human person that lived...And ironically enough....Jesus was never a Christian....so if he was still alive today he would understand exactly how you feel. The most important thing is to always treat others with love (respect). That's all.

Do you believe that the air you breathe exists? Have you ever seen it? Believing in Jesus is an act of faith, not belief by evidence. The evidence comes afterward - in a change in you.

I have never seen him either, but I know he is real. Can you see air? You know it is real because you have to breath it to stay alive.
Faith is knowing and believing, you can see him in everything he does for you and how he helps you and all the miracles all around you. Read your Bible and pray and seek God and you should find your faith back.

I think the first correct thing to do is to believe in a greater power.
Then picture that greater power as someone we call God.
Take it easy and step-by-step.
Don't confuse yourself with prophets just yet.
Pray to God and ask him. He's always by your side.
Believe in Him.
And when you think the time is right and that you're ready, you can start researching different religions and reading all the religious books you need.
Then find a religion you're comfortable with and that suits you best.
That's my opinion and I hope you find the right way for you soon.

Read not only the bible, but writings of early Christians. A good introduction to early Christian writers is "Will the Real Heretics Please Stand Up" by David Bercot. One example of many early Christian writers is Eusebius. It is amazing how the prophecies of the old testament written by many different people, many years apart all corraborate with what is written in the New Testament. Eusebius explains many examples so well.

God knew everything about you before you came out of your mothers womb. You never saw yourself come out of your mothers womb, or even remember. So how do you actually know who's your Mom and Dad. They show you how much they love you and remember that special day. Got Knew everything before your parents got married. You don't remember your childhood years at least some of them. Your parents would tell you all about the funny stuff you don't remember. The only reason why you believe that is because they told you they were there. God was there before the begining of time. He knew everything about you "why"? He told ya. He knew this day before I was even born. "Faith"
