Only in cartoons does a bike blow up.

South Park had something like this, Kyles PLASTIC big wheel trike fell off a cliff and exploded.

Spongebob Squarepants has done this as well.

This is something I always laugh at in cartoons..it would be kinda funny if it actually happened haha..

from personal experience, when I rolled my bike down a cliff it kept hitting me repeatedly as I hit every rock, boulder, tree and critter on the way down... the only thing that blew up was my knee...

but I am sad to say the bike didn't make it. But there were no explosions either.
