I'm glad. Now the U.S. troops need to do the same.

I think it's about time!! They should never have been sent in the first place!!
They were even more useless than a UN peacekeeping force - they weren't allowed to go anywhere dangerous (despite the fact that Iraq is a war-zone!) or to attack anyone - even if under fire! They've been protected by troops from other, non-American, countries!
Supposedly they went there to help rebuild Iraq. But because of the war, they hardly got anything done!! Plus, some bright spark let the Iraqis think that it was Japanese businesses going over there, to start factories and create jobs...! So the Japanese troops with their basic training in various 'rebuilding' skills were NOT popular!!

Japan had no troops in Iraq after ww2 their constitution forbade them to have a military presence outside Japan,, they are sending back their engineers not troops

They are smarter than us, and they build toyotas, good cars. Its hard to believe they were stupid enough to attack us in W.W.2. I was stationed in Japan in the Navy in the late 70s and They are really peacefull people.

i don't blame them...we're gaining nothing. they only went as a peace offering to satisfy the UN.
we could stay there for 50 years, there will always be religious war

They are trying to please Korea & move attention from themselves. I think they are yellow bellied cowards personally.
