I'm a single mother of 4.
I'm living on a $400.00 monthly deficit. It's been this way for over 6 months. I do tithe faithfully. I've not paid one single bill late in all this time. God has miraculously stretched what I have, supplied what I needed when I needed it.
Once I felt compelled to give extra so I did. That week I found an extra $400.00 in my checking account. It never showed up as a deposit, I never found an error. I have no clue, but it was there.
I know God rewards the cheerful giver!

I am just now working and I do tithe 10% of my paycheck. As it changed my life no, but there are acouple of points I'd like to make.
1) When I gave my life to God everything I say, do and own came with it, which means my money is also His. All he asks is that I set aside 10% for Him. If I don't do that then I'm basically stealing from God. And all He asks is for $50 out of a $500 pay check.
2) Thanks to people tithing Christian Radio Stations like Air 1 and K-LOVE stay on air. And they really do change peoples lives.

I tithe 10% & offering 5%, Before I was attending church on a reqular basis I would set aside tithes & offering and when ever I went to church I would pay it at that time. So if I seperated this %
I would make it through the week with cash. When I didn't I would end up useing my credit card for gas or even groceries.
so by being greedy I would run out of money and w/cr cards get into more debt, but by tithing we would make ends meets somehow.
My son saw how this worked over & over again and when he started working he did the same, and more than a few times was out of money, but still didn't touch his tithes and no sooner than he left church someone would buy him lunch, or offer him money to attend a event he would not offord to go to on his own. Also random jobs would be offered clearing land from one company or fileing down bars from another company. So he earned money
not expected.

I had a rough point in life where I couldn't find work, one day a friend gave me a job for two days, he told me if I were to pay an honest tithing with it that more work would come my way. I did has he suggested. The following week I landed a job that lasted over two weeks. After every job, I paid my Tithing, I was Kept in work for over three months before I landed a permenent Job. I owe my life to Tithing. And for any one who is curious tithing is 10% of your Gross income. No other form of tithing is acceptable to the Lord.

I don't tithe, but I give as much as my budget will allow me to. I also give to many charities, but the best reason that I give is my little guy that I sponsor from Compassion International! I've received many letters from him over the years, and he is so respectful and grateful for his sponosorship. I always look forward to reading them, and save every one, which says a lot, since I throw away my own birthday cards. It's just rewarding! The reason I give money to my church is because otherwise the pastor's family would be poor (that is, if nobody gave anything). He needs a salary.

all I know is when I tithe I never have the money problems that I do when I stop tithing. I would rather have a blessed 90% then a not blessed 100%

A Christian I know who tithes felt it upon her heart to give me her tithe when I was financially struggling....the truth is KNOW ONE KNEW HOW HARD I WAS STRUGGLING. She said the Lord told her to give her tithe to me. I was working in a Christian school and my husband was a police officer. Well, I bought some necessary materials for the school and my husband and I paid some nagging bills. It was over 400.00 and it happened over 20 years ago. I celebrate in a different church, now and it has never happened again....maybe because the Lord has blessed me and I have no need of it.

all I know is that when I tithe I dont have a problem paying my bills and I dont worry about them it seems like I always have money to pay my bills and pay them on time. But when I dont tithe things seem to fall apart. So I believe in tithing.

Well this was volunteer work. I currently know sign language because of a 6 year old deaf girl. I was giving her riding lessons and it was very difficult to communicate with her... at one time she even bit the horse! (Because she was frustrated with the inability to communicate.) I think this changed my life because I decided to learn sign language for her, (because no one around did know it) and it amazes me, how difficult it can be to sometimes communicate.
From then I learned different languages so that I could communicate with as many people as possible. So that we all have a basic understanding and no one is frustrated. I currently know, sign language, french, spanish, and a little bit of the following: german, turkish, and polish.

Since I bagan tithing regularly, I have yet to go broke. (I only make about 25 k a year). I also helped build a church in Mexico and that showed me how lazy and weak American Christians are.
