They would appear no different, because they are the same. If God created everything, he did it through evolution, and if God doesn't exsist, then there is no such thing as intelligent design. So, not matter what you believe, the world looks the same.

A random design world would consist of evolutions that are both beneficial and destructive. Random design proceeds without regard of human (or intelligent) perception or effect.

Intelligent design would consist primarily of evolutions that are destructive. This is because the intelligent designer has made what he/she thinks is good, and would be left with a world that has nothing to do but fall apart or wear down.

I'll leave it to you to decide which world is ours.

"Random Design" is an oxymoron. Something that has design has evidence of intent and a designer. Random means without design or intent.

In a "random" world, there would not be uniformity of structure. Atoms forming molecules, living cells forming organisms, layers of rock forming tectonic plates floating uniformly in the earth's crust, orbital patterns of solar systems and galaxies, etc.

Chaos theory was developed to help define patterns of recurrence in random circumstances. It cannot be applied to the universe at large because it is not random in nature, it is ordered.

Think about planets like Mars, Mercury, Jupiter. Is it random that they are the way they are and Earth is not. Is is random that man has never had a widely accepted and proven encouter with an off-world organism. I don't necessarily agree with ID (I agree with some of Darwin, except his racist ideas about human beings), but even looking at the Big Bang and spontaneous generation idea of life, there are so many things that fell perfectly in place. Although humans do share a lot of DNA with other species, why have we moved forward with civilizatiion, religion, art, why do we have unique cultures, and other organism have not?
