does my dog have a stomach flu???

Dogs dont get the flu.. Has he had ALL his vaccines and up to date on them? I have to agree, take him to the vet right away, they can get dehydrated within a few hours.

More than likely he just ate something that didn't agree with him. Whatever he ate probably irritated and upset his stomach. My boston terrier ate a green colored bisquit and she has had diarrhea for the past 5 days. She also threw up. She had a vet appointment this morning to get her staples removed from her c-section and I asked the vet why she is having terrible diarrhea. She said that it is definately something she ate. If these symptoms do not subside within a few days, I would take him to the vet to be checked out. Also, you may want to put him on the boiled rice and hamburger diet for a few days. This is what my vet recommended and my dog is feeling much better. She is back to her spunky self again. Lots of luck to you!!!

What did the vomit look like? Was it white foam or yellow bile? Any food? Did he inhale his food quickly? On the white discharge from his rectum. Did it look like white rice pellets that moved? Did they wiggle in the poop? Those are tapeworms that they get from digesting fleas. Is he still eating and drinking? Activity level normal? If anything is abnormal I would highly recc. a vet visit!

i think the dog is sick. my dog does the same thing she's fine after awhile. just put the dog in his bed if he has one. and put a thin towel or blanket on him and he should be fine. if that doesnt work take him 2 the vet.

may have worms, definitely get him to the vet
