I wrote this poem in 1986 and I'll share it with you today, because I've learned a lot about love and loving since then, and yes, I love you, because Jesus first loved me.
Do You Love Whom You Think You Do?
By Deanna L. Hunter Copyright 1986
To know me is to love me,
How true, and yet, so false.
You know me for what you want me to be,
You love me for what you think you see,
But when you know me
You no longer love me
For I'm not who or what you thought I should be.
But Jesus has always known and he still loves me!

I'd give up 30 seconds of my time to answer a question for you. But only one. So, yes, that is love.
