I know there aren't many Norwegians in UK but everyone I have met drinks a hell of a lot? do you know why?

they cant believe how cheap it is here ,and think its going to run out before morning

It could be that they like alcohol and the culture of their country means that alcohol is a regular part of that.

It could also be that the sun is out longer, during the cold winter months and their body systems find it hard to adjust to not having a regular day and night. Which may create problems, physically and psychologically.
