My mom makes the best chicken salad......i've seen her do it a millions times and mine never comes out like hers. And her potatoe salad.. Dad is he best when it comes to mashed potatoes---he kicks mom out the ktichen and load them up with butter and milk. ummm going home to visit think I need to make a phone call and request dinner..

my mum cooks an amazing roast dinner with all the trimmings. She also used to make fantastic lasagna, toad in the hole and cauliflower cheese. My father is also an excellent cook so I learnt a lot from both of them

She'd make rhubarb crisp and saskatoon pies in the summer. Potatoe salad, devilled eggs, fudge and bread pudding.

My moms fav. food was anything that she could load down with cheese..lol My dad is a meat and taters kind of guy...so we got stuck with stuff like that. But i think her fav. was spagettei. with tons of cheese...lol

She makes really good Chicken and Rice...no matter how hard I try it doesn't taste quite the same.
