Well, let's say there's a 50% chance he's actually busy, and a 50% chance he's avoiding you.

If you've waited for a few minutes, or hours, you need to get a hobby. The world does not revolve around you, no matter how much you want it to, and even if he LOVES you, he's not your personal communication slave.

However, if it's been a few days, ping him -- and add "Hey, you're not avoiding me, are you? ;)" in the mail. If he's avoiding you, he'll ignore it, and if he's not avoiding you, he'll apologize. The ";)" will keep you from seeming like a crazy person.

One note, however: what if his mail is broken, or his spam filter is filtering out your emails? If you have a phone number, call him to ping him instead of mailing.

I think it's not so uncommon for men to try to make women think they are busy or just be comfortable about it if they really are

You know, playing "not so easy to get"

I'm sure there are men who really are too busy to reply a mail.
Don't think it's the case for me. If I like a girl I usually write back

For the ones who already are a couple it might be even more common not to reply right away

You are overreacting. Stop it. Every woman has a problem with being impatient, believe me, I know. So, relax, be patient...wait, or don't. Your decision, but don't just jump to conclusions... Maybe call him or something instead. Emailing, IMing, and text messaging always leave us thinking the wrong things. In person or by phone is the way to go. Try it. You'll get better answers to your questions. Good luck!

More than likely. If someone is too busy at all, for a phone call, email, or coming to see you, more than likely, you're not on their mind as much as you may want to be.

I have known of men who act indifferent so you'll want them more then when they finally decide to call (or email) you forget that they ignored you & are just happy to hear from them....I think it's a control thing.
Anyone else think some men are like that?

If you notice a pattern of not responding to you, then he's not interested in you much. If it's only one time that he hasn't responded then give him a chance to respond in HIS own time not yours. Oh and by the way...get a life.
