Things worth having are things we are willing to risk all to have.
What you are feeling is the fear of rejection. You have to be willing to suffer rejection for the change to go out with him.
He might laugh at you or he might say yes.
Will you risk it, Will you risk all just for the change and accept the result and be satisfied knowing you tried if he rejects you.

Just ask him!! Otherwise you'll never know. A lot of guys are clueless and they don't know if you like him until you tell him (especially if he's shy too). As William Shakespeare said, "A fool thinks he is wise, and a wise man knows himself a fool."

wHY SHOULD YOU MAKE A FOOL OF your self. do you Like him? does he like you? have you talked before just to talk. Then just ask him out for coffee or just a walk in the park. Don't need to make a big production of it. Start simple and see whaere it goes.

well, if you dont want to make a fool of yourself by just walking up to him and asking him, plan out how youll do it and when{best time being when hes on his own.} and when you do get him on his own, tell him how you feel and just ask him, but not right out.just say something like:
i was wondering, would you want to go out sometime?
ask him like that, it should work

You will make a fool out of yourself by not asking him out and watching someone else date the guy.
If he declines, simply keep your chin up and keep on having fun.

What's wrong with making a fool of yourself, it's not fatal you know, just a bit embarrassing. And who knows, he just may accept your offer.

say something like "maybe we could do (activity) sometime". you didn't technically ask him, you indirectly asked him out. if you get a positive gesture from his face and a good vibe you're in. if he acts like "uhhhh" with his eyez looking around then you know he's a tool that lacks confidence. gabiche'?

if he such a great fool why do yo hang on him. further, simply asking him out wat to do will not make you as a fool if you are not a fool already.
