I am preparing punch for 300 people. Does anyone know how I can calculate how much I need to make? I'll be using punch and sprite so I'm trying to figure out how many 2 liters to buy. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

I scaled this recipe for you for 300
you can also substitute the ginger ale for sprite

5 (64 fluid ounce) bottles fruit punch, chilled
5 (64 fluid ounce) bottles unsweetened pineapple juice, chilled
5 (2 liter) bottles ginger ale, chilled
40 cups orange sherbet

DIRECTIONS:
In a punch bowl, mix together fruit punch, pineapple juice and ginger ale. Add scoops of sherbet into the punch. Wait for the sherbet to begin melting, approximately 10 minutes, stir gently, and serve

If you're guests drink roughly 3 small punch sized glasses, the clear ones. That's about 12-16 oz. You'll need at the minimum 57 2-liters more is always better. I would get at least 70-90.

You'll want about 18 gallons of punch, total, to serve 300 people appropriately.
