cats are great pets these days because they don't require constant attention and a lot of time, they're perfect for people who work all day. I would say knock on a few doors in your neighborhood some saturday afternoon, or print out a few pages saying you're giving them away and put them up in your neighborhood, or at the local grocery store. good luck

might i also say, thank you for asking and not just dumping them out somewhere to fend for themselves (we just found 2 kittens in the desert a couple of weeks ago) or else have them put down.

Put an ad in the paper!
I'm sure someone out there is willling to take care of them if they are well behaved. cats can get up to 16-18 years old, nosense putting them to sleep at 9!!! If you cant find a home yourself then take them to a no-kill humane society nearby. Sometimes they charge like $25.00 to drop them off but its worth it to know your cats are going to live and be taken care of.

Put an ad in the newspaper. There are many cat lovers in every city, so it should not be hard to find them a good home.

Advertise in the papers, post up flyers around pet stores, go to forums that specialize in cats and ask if anyone wants them.

as already suggested, put up flyers, free ads in papers (alot of major papers will let you put ads in for free if the pets are "free to a good home" and you're not trying to sell them), swap magazines (locally we have one called iwanta, everything from baby clothes to cars to animals are in there), call vet offices see if they have any advice, or if they will let you put up flyers in their office, ask everyone you know, go to pet stores and if you see ppl who like cats...ask them....one more option are rescue groups. there are rescue groups specifically for cats, and there are rescue groups that work off of donations...you can always beg one of them to take the cats with a small donation.
