Your best bet would likely be the train, Eurostar. Fares start at $45 US one way, depending on date & time of departure.

When I did it in 2000, there is a ferry that you can take and then a train to Paris or London (depending on which way you're going). It's super cheap and apparently the way that the locals go. However, it's a waste of a whole day as opposed to forking out the extra cash to get there in a few hours.
I had 3 months, but I still went the quicker route.

for particular the two wintry climate or previous due fall.. Non-trip classes from approximately early November by ability of mid March see the fares are there lowest stages of the 12 months. many times it incredibly is hence of the fact the climate is undesirable, it gets dark at 3pm and each and each component is alot slower so a super way as crowds. expenses leap up ussualy as rapidly as days get longer and climate gets a sprint greater suitable ( previous due march or aprill) and then attain peaks in June or July. Septemer and October see a mushy drop as properly the easy fact that it may desire to even although be very extreme priced.

We recently did that trip and it cost about $80 each round trip on Eurostar. You can make reservations online at:
http://www.raileurope.com/us/rail/fares_schedules/index.htm
You pay online with a credit card and they send your tickets by express mail. The train ride is about 3 hrs but very fast and comfortable. There are trains all day so you can pick your times.

Well actually there are 2 options without flying. You can take the english channel tunnel or the fairy that crosses over the english channel. the fairy is more senic, but the tunnel I believe is faster.
