Check with a vet in your area . They should have a program that you can enroll in at their office . It is like a credit card type thing . I can not remember the name of it. I'm sorry. But, you pick however much you think it will cost for your pet and then the company will issue a card and you use it to pay for the office visit and procedures. I believe the lowest amount you can get is 300$$. You can enroll on-line or over the phone. It might be named pet care card, I'm not sure. There are some insurance companies that sell pet insurance.

Banfield, located inside most Petsmart locations, have something called a wellness plan. Instead of paying an overwelming amount at one time they have something similar to insurance where you just pay a small amount each month. It saves you a lot of money!! Because it covers all of your shots and check ups for a year. However, you so have to sign a contract and keep up with your monthly payments but this is the best option I have found so far!! Owning a dog can be very expensive! Even if they have no health problems.

If the canines merely has a minor situation, then i visit positioned it off until eventually all my everyday charges are paid. no matter if that's a severe emergency, it quite is why I actually have a mastercard. authentic Akita Rottweiler 2 Dobermans Bullmastiff Miniature Pinscher Carolina canines Mutt I actually have a cat and four horses, I actually have had circumstances in which better than one animal required emergency treatment and attributable to the mastercard and money kept i replaced into in a position to administration them. i don't have coverage or a cost reductions account committed to my animals, i merely have regularly occurring price reductions that i visit bypass into at the same time as a project comes up. i'd never bypass and not using a need like warmth or electrical energy for my animals yet i'd reduce again on some luxuries if it meant them residing or lack of life.

Call the local SPCA and see if any vets participate in a discount program. There are many vets who are happy to help someone who is genuinely taking great care of their pet but cannot afford it.
Good luck.

I would recommend calling your local vet and asking if they can place you on a payment plan. At least this way you can get the service you need immediately, and can work out a program with them if they're willing. As we all know, vet bills can be outrageous, but no one can help you if you don't ask.

Well, you have a computer and internet access.....sell what ever you can so the pet gets help. Or give it to the shelter so they can find it a home that can care for it.

There are a few organizations that help with sick or hurt animals, but I know of none that help with just a check up.

Don't have a pet if you cannot afford to give it the care it may need.
