Old wives tale about black cats and bad luck. An artist back around the 16th century painted a black cat with a witch and the image has stuck since.
I have had 2 and presently still have a black cat. They are the best cats out there. The biggest personality of any cat. They are also smarter than the average cat. Why? No clue. I have had many cats but my 2 black ones have just out witted the others along with myself many times.
If reincarnation is real...then we come back as black cats.

I don't believe they are bad luck because I had one for a long time and nothing bad happened to me. Being black can be bad luck for the cat because some people kill cats, especially black ones on hollowing
