Poverty has nothing to do with religion. Poverty deals with the number of people in an area, edgucation availibility, health care availiblity and the greed of people in power. Notice there's always classes in every country. The poor the not so poor, the haves and the have nots. All over the world people with wealth are healthy and have the ability to maintain their health. They're usually edgucated people college degree's and so forth. People that are poor have crapy health care and their edgucation is very low. Some people can't even read or write their own names. I saw this in a movie once.....Maybe it'll help.
If you sufer your people to be illedgucated and their manners currupted from infancy. And they grow up to be what their first edgucation disposed them to....what else to conclude that the world creates theives then punishes them.

First remember, there is no God but God.

Second, Not necessarily.

The problems with the poverty in India stem from a gross negligence of true worship of GOD. The systemic problem will go away if the entire nation or state, turned from their wicked ways, turned toward GOD and humbled themselves and worshiped Him over time...
Just as the USA is going down the crapper for years of neglectful and wrong worship. Oh bless me, bless me... Never; Bless you Oh GOD!

The Christian god is long since dead. I tire of hearing such religious ramblings as the one on this page about American and Indian problems are all becuase we don't worship properly! HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THE DEVASTATION YOUR CHURCH IS BUILT ON? Christianity is a popular religion in so many places becuase the Christians of a time long since past burned any man, woman or child that beilieved in another god or not one at all! India has brought it's own sorrow upon itslef. You shouldn't pity them. Pity is a weakness, weaker than being believing not worshipping a god brings about damnation!

Jesus said the poor will always be with you.
We are given free will, work hard, invest wisely and don't spend your money foolishly. But God doesn't grant riches to people.
If you serve god for money, would that really be true love.
When a woman marries a man because he has money does she really love him? Or just using him?
a man wanted to pay the apostles to have the holy spirit, they told him God's holy spirit is free. Satan says no one serves god for unselfish motives. If you got rich he would in essence be buying your love.
