If your left arm is hurting or twitching you need to go to the doctor or the ER
That could be a sign of a stroke.

It appears most eye twiches are harmless, involuntary spasms of the tiny muscles surrounding the eye. Some causes are fatigue, squinting a lot, consuming too much caffeine, or working in a less than ideal visual environment, staring at a computer screen for long periods of time. Just like a muscle spasm at any other part of the body, an eye twitch can mean you've taxed your muscles and need to relax them.

At home treatments that may help include hot baths, warm or cold compresses, rinsing your eyes out with warm water, or administrating eye drops.

However persistent, more violent eye twitches could be a symptom of other physical or psychological ailments, such as undue stress or temper tantrums, neurological damage, or even epilepsy.

This happens to me, and also to my girlfriend. For us, it is caused by stress. It happens to me more if I have deadlines to meet or something awkward going on in my personal life. Make sure you get plenty of sleep, and if possible, try some relaxation exercises. Work out if anything in particular is stressing you out at the moment, and really assess whether it is that important, and what you can do to stop worrying about it. Eat well also - three meals a day with some fruit and veg in, and not mega amounts of sugar. Anyway, I reckon it's stress and you need to take away the stress and the twitchy eye will follow.

It's usually stress related. When you get too tired it happens too. I had an eye twitch for almost 6 months after my Mom died, (thank God nobody could see it, it was under my eyeball) the doctor said it was stress. When I get tired or I'm under pressure it comes back but goes away again. If it bothers you go see your doctor to make sure otherwise get some rest and chill out.

get some sleep, drink some water, and eat a banana. twitching muscles are normaly caused by lack of sleep, dehydration, or low potassium but there could be other causes, are you on any medication? perscribed or otherwise? If this doesnt help or it becomes painful then see a doctor asap.
