I used to have a version of this, now I dont. I'm wondering if its worth getting again. I am aware of other similar products (limeware etc) so I would be grateful if opinions could be restricted to kazaa/kazaalite rather than recomendations of similar programs

In my opinion Kazaa is a waste of your time.. it basically downloads a shitload of spyware that will really slow down your computer. The bad thing is all the spyware takes forever &* a day to get off your system. It just isnt worth it, save yourself the trouble &* download limewire <3

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but Kazaa is infested with spyware and viruses, and Kazaa Lite has been dead for some time now. There is a program called Kazaa Lite Resurrection, but I'd be wary of that. Nowadays, bittorrent and limewire are the ways to go. eMule and Frostwire also deserve a mention.

Too much junk that comes with it. Advertisements are not so bad but all the little cookies it puts on the computer and spy ware I do not need. Some is attached to files you down load from other people. I was using lime wire for a while but now have even dumped that one. Bear share is out there and some say it is good but I haven't used it. P2P is a good way to get viruses and other problems so be careful.

I'm very nervous about Kazaa. I have used it with difficulty and a number of people told me to stay away from it because of corruptions. I have used Bearshare and Limewire and I prefer the latter.

I used to love Kazaa, but now i use FSN, File Sharing Network.
Its semi faster and the song doesn't have to necessarily download from front to back, it can start anywhere until completion, but if your searching for songs and the artist has an abbreviated name, you have to know the name of the song.

try Gluz (a variation of limewire) , it works much like kazaa, exept without viruses, and without those "fake songs", u can downoload it free, just search for it on Google

Frostwire for the win.

Seems Limewire is being changed to only allow DRM files on it, or some such crap that everyone hates.
