Its a memory dump.
It means the game is not compatible with your computer.

The system requirements for SIMS 2:
Maxis has released information on the system requirements for "The Sims 2." If you have a T&L (info about what T&L is below) capable video card with at least 32 MB of video RAM (such as nvidia GeForce 2 or better or ATI Radeon 7000 or better) then you need at least:
800 MHz processor
256 MB RAM if Windows XP
128 MB RAM if Windows 98, Windows ME, or Windows 2000
At least 3.5 gigs of free hard drive space
If you have a non-T&L capable video card (such as TNT2, Intel, or Rage for example) then you need at least:
2.0 GHz processor
256 MB RAM if Windows XP
128 MB RAM if Windows 98, Windows ME, or Windows 2000
At least 3.5 gigs of free hard drive space
Recommened video cards (and the more video memory the better):
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
Nvidia Geforce 4

If you dont fit the minimum requirement to play the game, then you will get a memory dump from a stack overload.

It seems your memory card has really jacked up, your computer(not monitor) is crammed of memory, or your video card is so old it plays connect-the-dots on its liver spots. I mean, the video card's fps cant handle the realistically quick fps of the Sims 2. Probably, get a new memory card. There may be something otherly wrong w/ your computer, and there may be not enough security, etc...

Reinstall the game

that sucks. You could restart your computer...you'd be surprised how many problems that fixes. I know its a bummer to have to reinstall your game because you will lose all of your families...but that may be the only way to fix it.
