I have a SUPER FAST metabolism and I burn foods really fast, I can't seem to eat right! I try to eat healthy, but the food just burns off really fast. Any ideas? Supplements?
I eat a meal and an hour later, I'm hungry.

Try fibrous food. They take long time to digest.

You are like me. I am always hungry, it is insane. I am extremely active as well, so this makes my eating condition quite the chore. It is not unusual for me to put down 3500 - 4000 calories a day and not gain weight.

Some foods that take a while to pass the digestive track are just about any fats and proteins. Most non-fibrous carbs are easy to digest (pastas, potatoes, etc) pass the digestive track fairly quickly, cause an increase an insulin and promote fat storage.

Some good, fullfilling foods that I've found are nuts... just a handful of just about any variety will give you a healthy dose of good-for-you fats along with protein. Almonds are particularly good for you too. Lean meats, soy, dried fruits, yogurts, cheeses and milk are also good foods. I've found that chocolate millk is also a good filler-upper and the sugar in it satisfies your sweet tooth.

I agree with the other person's answer in stating that oatmeal is good. It always fills me up and has been shown to stunt appetite. That an egg or two could cover you for most of the morning. Oatmeal is also a high-energy food. Be sure to check out the Glycemic Index at http://www.glycemicindex.com/ to find foods that won't spike your insulin. Generally, these foods are the most fullfilling and healthy.

Count your blessings that you have a good metabolism. Most people aren't so lucky.

Have fun.

I used to hate oatmeal, but it gives me sustained energy without a spike or a sugar crash, so I can't deny that it works.
