Cause theyre boys and they dont know how to show their emotions, so they come out all wrong.

Young boys around the age of 8-10 do it because they don't know how to express themselves. Then there are the boys that think that nice guys finish last. Then there are just plain idiots, that could care less about how a girl feels. If any of these apply to a boy you like, then find someone who will treat you as you want to be treated. Though it sounds like a lot of crap...There are a lot of fish in the sea, and even when you think: "Oh, this is the guy of my dreams" it only lasts until someone better comes along. Enjoy life and always be respectful of yourself! Good luck.

They don't know what else to do. Boys have a hard time doing the 'mushy stuff', it makes them feel silly. So they get angry, and mean. And it does not help when the guy gets stabbed in the back too.....he gets the courage to walk up to the girl and say something...and she makes a big deal about it and embarrasses him in front of people.

You have to realize that you just asked why are "boys" mean to you when they like you not why are "men" mean to you when they like you!! I know i don't know how old you are but when you truly find someone that likes you they will not be mean to you at all.

nerves,plus strange as it seems it is how some males show there affection because they don't know anyother way.
