I have a 3 year old female maine coon cat named Clawdette. She is large at 18 lbs, but a gentle giant. She is very loyal, sticking close by me or my husband - she wants to be near one or the other. She loves to "talk" to us and demands to be included in our conversations. The only negative is that she is intensely jealous of my daughter and growls and hisses at her whenever she visits.

Me! I have a 4-yr old Maine Coon named Andy who still acts like a wild kitten.

My Mom has two Maine Coons, Katherine the Great and Magnificat (Katie and Maggie for short.) Personally I find them kind of bland - they don't like to play or cuddle nearly as much as my three tabbycats - but she adores them. And they are handsome beasts - hers are "Smoke" in colour.

Yeah! I have a cat named Danza and she's 1 1/2. She's so loving and the best. Her demeanor is so great. But, hey, she's a mainah, and ain't we all great, ayuh?

I have a female named "Princess Zoe Elizabeth Anne" and my daughter has one named "Princess Leia"
For some reason though, Zoe is nicknamed Bean.
They are great pets to have, so affectionate.
