You Must Have Some Serious Misconceptions About The GOD Believers Serve!......There Is No Roadblocks (As You Call It) In Serving The Lord Because Believers Know Something You Non Believers Don't Know And Here It Is...""Where The Spirit Of The Lord Is, There Is LIBERTY"!...(2 Cor. 3: 17)....

I am guessing when you say 'believers' you mean Christians. I could change my mind if I wanted to, but why would I want to?Even though I have had hard times in my life I can see how God has blessed me in those situations as well. I just can't believe that we are here to have a good time, then die, and that is it. That seems so shallow and hopeless. If I am wrong and Christianity is a sham (which I don't believe it is)...at the very least I was a kinder, more giving, and loving person because of it. No, I choose to believe!

Life is all about Roadblocks, [things stopping you from doing something for one reason or another], but when the going gets tough the tough get going. And we all make mistakes. But when it comes to that point of decision making and a mistake is made as long as we are truly sorry in our hearts, and try not to do it again on purpose God Will forgive us all...Changing there their Mines about what ????

Ive often thought of changing my mind but common sense tells me differently. I look at the world and nature, the universe and its mysteries, I look at plants, animals, the complexity of the human body, the brain, the human reproduction process. I also think of evolution and find it impossible to believe that we evolve from one celled organisms and we all branched off into different species. I cannot believe that there was once nothing and then there was something without there being a divine creator. Mostly I cannot believe that of all the billions of species of living things..only ONE evolves to such ranks as the higher thinking animal..the Human. The reason, I believe is that because humans were the ones created in the image of the creator. We have the ability to also create and destroy. We are like gods ourselves. Having spirits that cannot be destroyed by man..only taken away by the divine and master creator. Man is constantly trying to be godlike..he wants to live forever, clone himself, take life, give life..he invents great things and terrible things. I could never change my mind..Not from fear..but from what life around me tells me to believe.

I changed my mind years ago, and chose Jesus. Best decision I ever made. I don't think about Him watching to catch me doing something wrong, because we try to live for Him. No roadblocks in my life.

Because they have been brainwashed into thinking that the almighty and loving omnipitent god would throw them to hell where they would burn forever, sounds like a nice god to me? Why is it that the all knowing all powerful omnipitent ones only way he could come up with to build a bridge to him was by torturing his own son to death?

You lose. I'm perfectly happy as a believer, and don't want to change, whether God was was watching or not. My life as a believer is way better.

i agree. people have been scared into beleiving in god (beleive in me or suffer eternal fire)

"beleive in god or be condemned to hell to be tortured for an eternity" is not a choice. its a threat. its the same as "give me your lunch money or ill punch you"

they believe because: 1. they have always beleived and are conditioned to believe (beleiving anything else is far too strange or unthinkable. or 2. because the religion or god fills a psychological void that gives them a warm and fuzzy feeling in their pants. or even 3. because they want to go to heaven. usually kids and teenagers convert to christianity for this reason. theyre given empty promises of heavens and they buy it. chalk that up to gullability.

so yes, i agree with you.
