stay awake until the local bedtime and then go to bed and get up like you normally would. This should get you on the local timetable in no time.

I try to keep up with the time in the new time zone. Turn in early (new time zone). But it takes 1 hour of jet lag a day to adjust.

I heard one way is to get out in the sun - this helps your body readjust its clock to match the new time zone
