No, the uterus is the internal penis. No, really. When an embryo is developing, before the sex characteristics have developed, it has a little "nub" with the two sex glands on either side of it. If this particular embryo has two X chromosomes, the "nub" goes inside the abdomen, the glands become ovaries, and the body builds a channel between the end of the "nub" and the outside world. That's the vagina.
If the embryo has an X and a Y chromosome, the "nub" goes outside, the glands descend into a pouch of skin just behind it, and the doctor says "It's a boy" when it's born. But before the specific features develop (at around 8 to 10 weeks), they're identical.
More fun facts: The uterus is the strongest muscle in the human body, while the penis isn't even a muscle at all -- it's a hollow cylinder filled with blood vessels and special chambers, and to become rigid, the body restricts the flow of blood OUT of it.

The other people need to read a book. When a fetus is developing both men and women have a little nub 'down there.' This will either grow out for a man or in for a woman, but its the same part.

I don't think so. Clitoris is homologous to penis, embryologically.
