Are they wild cats? If so, they cannot be adopted out, and the most humane way to deal with them is to get a live trap (or you can hire a person to trap them for you) and bring them to the Humane Society. The Humane Society will decide if they're able to be adopted out. Wild cats aren't cats, they're pests. They carry diseases and are threats to the other cats in the community. If they're not wild, just someone's wandering pet, don't pay any attention to them and don't put out any food or water.

I would hope that you would bring them to an organization that would not kill them--and try to have them adopted. Some people actually are looking for cats--even if it's to prevent mice infestation. Cats are very clean animals--one of the most sanitary in the world of animals.

I recently found out that cats hate the smell of oranges. I have 2 and I was trying to keep them out of one room. I started spraying OrangeClean in that room everyday and they won't go near it.
