God is doing a great job. He does everything well. The fact that you don't like the way he works doesn't affect him at all. You don't have to even believe in him, he knows you and believes in you.

I think He is doing an excellent job. I think that the state of the world today is not His fault, but the fault of humans for deciding that they know better than the Lord. So, yes, I think he is doing a good job. It's not His fault that a lot of the population of the world is deciding to follow sATAN instead of God.

Well, All what God does has a higher wisdom behind it, and who is more wiser than the God, the Creator? none.
Plus, dchella, we are not to question the acts of God, rather to believe in him, worship him, and ask him to forgive us and have his mercy on us, and expect his kindness in the hereafter.. since we are only creations of God!.. do you believe your sandwich has the right to question your acts? lol I do not think so..
God has sent His prophets to teach men, his word, laws and wisdom, so they might live a peaceful and safe life and be saved from a great punishment, which God has pre ordained for those who deserve it, those who oftenly transgress and think that they were created for no wisdom and that God is not seeing them, and Allah knows best.

Do you all honestly think that God, a perfect being, could make ANY sort of mistake? Of course he's doing a good job - without question! It is us that makes mistakes and make the world a horrible place.

yes-God is doing a wonderful job.
Just think about what he's providing for you on a daily basis...
* air to breath
*reasonable level of health (dispite how much we try to do the job on it! lol)
*friends/family
* and let's not forget "Grace"...because without it, all of us 'sinners' would be in a pretty rough predictament.
...It's not God who has slacked off on the job...or failed to do HIS part (He couldn't possibably do anymore! He sent his own Son!)
...It's the unbelievers who aren't doing a good job.
Because we don't understand something, doesn't give us the right to be completely ignorant.
God is faithful. It's the rest of us, who are lacking.

God has rules. In order to give man life, He had to give man free will. See the Divine Providence by Emanuel Swedenborg for the rule book on God's Divine Government of man. Divine Providence can be seen after events in your life and not before the events happen.

What exactly is "God's job" anyway? Is it God's job to take care of us, to be our slave, to make our world better for us? Help us get a better job or do better in school? Get a new boyfriend/girlfirend? Fix your brother because he's stupid? Fill your gas tank?

yes He is, He's taking care of all the people that believe in Him. Don't blame God for humans mistakes... we wanted to be hardheaded and have free will, now we have the free will. Some people use it the right way and choose to go to heaven, lots use it the wrong way and choose to kill, rob, torture, etc, then end up in hell.. Read the bible thoroughly before making ignorant, uneducational comments...

First off loose the attitude. just so you know god is real and he is doing a better job then anyone in the universe. he's doing a better job then you and your doing horrible.

imagine being an ant and declaring you don't belive in humans. when a giant foot smashes you into the ground are you going to ponder whether or not ....."God" is doing a good job?
