Open Communication is the key. When you feel comfortable talking about everything or anything with this person at any time and she returns the favor without holding back on anything with you as well, this builds trust.
With trust, you also have genuine friendships. That is when you only want the very best for your friend and you just want them to be happy no matter what. You never ask for anything in return because you don't have to. All your own material wants and needs you can easily get for yourself because you can, without asking her for anything.
When you have a genuine friendship, this will lead into a very wonderful relationship. The trust and the growth in each person as time goes by is important. Never let her stagnate or not grow as an individual and woman. Never let yourself stagnate or not grow either. Understanding that each person has to experience what true love is , that is important.
True love is when you and that special person have a "Meeting of Minds"... which means you connect and in a way that your minds are as if they are one. It is a very special feeling. It is a feeling unlike no other that you've ever experienced Ever before.
If this other person feels the same way about you as you do with her, then religion shouldn't be an issue. Each religion does is based on love. Many just have different interpretations of what love is and what it means to be in love. Understanding the differences and having an open coversation about it will help you come to an agreement, at least.
Finally, you must let your special woman in your life know how much you value her sense of Trust and her sense of People and make sure you tell her that as well.

Love is an emotion that comes from the heart. Nobody has the power to control their heart, either. Therefore, there is no technique possible for u to use to get her to fall head over heels for u, or to make her love u back. The best thing to do is to just be yourself. Make sure that she knows that u have feelings for her, but it'd be easiest for u to just go with the flow. If it's meant to be, it will happen, and there's no way that anybody can stop it.
God is in control...He already knows wat's in store for u, and if she's the one, then the two of u will be together, regardless.

First of all, to be unequally yoked is something you need to work on right off the bat. You should not be unequally yoked in any kind of intimate relationship, I believe the Lord tells us that. But in a friendship you have an awesome opportunity to show her the love of the Lord in such a way that she might consider a personal relationship with Jesus. Best wishes and prayers =)

If i were in your situaiton, I would just allow her to know how I feel about her. Even if she does not believe the concept of love, just let her know that you'd be a good friend and support her by her side. I know it may hurt being by her side and only being able to love her just as a friend, so the decision is really up to her if she feels the same way. Good luck.

She's not Christian, and she doesn't believe in love. How can you say that's not an issue?? You could hope to change her but people generally don't change. It could be an uphill struggle, I'd find someone who at least agrees with your core beliefs. And keep her as a friend, who knows what may happen down the road.

I have not met a person that did not believe in love. I would say that she just doesnt want labels. You can make her feel a "deep friendship" just dont use the term "love". Just enjoy what you currently have with her.

odd predicament love !
I would say maybe to show that you do care and love her so much is to learn about her faith, I am not talkin about u turnin your back on your religion but understandin hers ???
It will be educational for you, and will prove to her that you are willin to understand her history and beliefs to be with her. That would win me over and maybe if more people learnt and understood other religions there wouldn't be so much terrorism and war in the world ??
Good luck love!

most likely, seems like her religion is important to her, and for the most part to her parents too, she just might end up with and marrying another guy of the same religion both because she will please her parents and her religion, you, seem like a nice guy, move on...with a better person. the best thing in life you can offer someone is love...

Try her religion for awhile. Not convert, just listen to where she is coming from in her religion. Ask her to do the same. See what happens from there.

You can't change a person's core beliefs. Maybe someday she will have new experiences that will change her outlook. In the meantime my suggestion is don't wait.
