First of all, you have to study aerospacial engineering/rocket science, and then apply to enter the NASA.

What determines where you will end up in your afterlife really DEPENDS ON HOW YOU [choose to] LIVE YOUR LIFE here on Earth... It's truly up to you and the choices you make.

If you prefer to go to Heaven, then you MUST FOLLOW THE LAW and obey the commandments given to us through Yeshua Messiah/Jesus Christ.

Otherwise, if you prefer NOT to follow The Law --for whatever reasons you may have-- then you'll NOT end up in Heaven.

On Judgment Day we shall all be sorted by the Righteous One based on everything and our HOW we fared during our own respective lifetimes, and not through the intercessions of anyone on your behalf. In short, ONLY YOU can save your own soul and no one else can or will do it for you.

It's way better to follow The Law...

Peace be with you!

I reject your premise.

If there is a god and he is as most Protestants believe him to be -- then I hope there is someplace else to go. One basic premise of most Protestant religions is that you can't get to heaven unless you believe. That means that they believe that God sends good men to hell if they aren't believers.

I just can't honor, worship or obey such a god. How could I -- he uses the same criteria for sendig people to Hell as Hitler used for sending people to Auchwitz.

So -- my hope is that there is a God but he is much more sane and fair than the Christian god.

What I want to know is how all these Christians are going to act when they die and God tells them -- "You were right -- there is a test to get into heaven -- but the test isn't belief -- it is intellectual curiosity -- now all you people who don't believe in evolution -- go to hell."

Galatians 5
Life by the Spirit
16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

I hope it takes a respect for the good book and its teachings. I hope it takes into account "free will" I hope that the fallabilities of the human are taken into account. I hope that the lies perpetrated to the human race are taken into account.
I hope that the desire to be a good person are of value. I hope that believing in the premises of a man crucified over 2 thousand years ago and wishing that we knew the truth about "all of it". I hope that I can get into heaven. I have been saved but I cant be devout it just doesnt feel like me. The church itself has ways of turning me off. I believe in teachings of a man called Jesus. They are pure unfettered teachings. We as men have taken these teachings and twisted them to fit our own purposes and I hope being a human frail with desire for a higher purpose is enough for him. It is my only hope.

You start with the fact and admit before God that you are a sinner and that you have broken His laws. Next you ask forgiveness and thank the Lord Jesus Christ that He paid the price with His life, death and resurrectioj for you spefically. Ask Him henceforth to come and live the christian life with you so that your life will bring glory to Him. That should seal the bargain with Him. If you don't do this. you have to face Him at judgment time.

Well Timmy it's what we do and how we act in this world to ourselves and to others. Know right from wrong and follow your heart. When life gets hard, know it's for a purpose and that purpose is for us to learn, and experience. Just do the best you can along the way. Good Luck to you Timmy and may you use your power in a good way that puts you on the right path.

Neither heaven nor hell exist except in a person's own mind.

to get to heaven is basically accepting that Jesus Christ died for your sins to be forgiven, that God loves you so much he let his only Son to die for us to be directed toward a right path and to be forgiven. You just have to accept Jesus as your Savior! May God bring you closer to his heart and may you realize that God is the real Truth, the only one you should count on. Good luck in finding the right path!:)

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be SAVED.(Born of God)
even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Joh 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Joh 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
Joh 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
------------------------------------------------------------
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
In Christ in Love,

There is only one way to go to Heaven, and that is to accept forgivness and salvation from God. To not do this, means you go to Hell.
