"thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" translation: if a woman thinks, kill her
the bible says this. the commandments say
"thou shalt not kill"
HYPOCRITES!
now where in the bible does it say that homosexuality is evil?
by the way homosexuality was more honorable according to the greeks and romans.
people like socrates and plato
so tell me why is it you believe it's wrong?
think back, "mixed marriage" was considered evil for a long time even though genetically speaking, if adam and eve existed, adam would have been the blackest man to ever exsist and eve an albino.
now we understand that no matter what one's color is, love is love.
tell me this, why doesn't that apply to ALL couples. love is love, no matter race, sex, religion, ect. right?

Because those people cherry-pick the Old Testament, and pick out the bits & pieces that support their belief, and ignore the rest. My favorites are the dietary laws; if they condemn people for being gay because the Old Testament says so (and it does say that), why do Christians eat bacon? Pork Chops? Shrimp? Why don't we sacrifice goats in church? The Old Testament clearly says you should sacrifice goats. There are long chapters regulating the capture & sales of slaves (including your own kids!), and one of the penalties for rape is making money restitution to her DAD, and another says you don't have to pay the restuitution if you marry her. Why aren't Christians advocating that rape victims marry their rapists; the Bible says so! Todays Christians also seem to have a beef with Polygamy, but the Old Testament clearly endorses it. It goes on and on and on.

Where in the world do you come up with these things? Why would you think it is OK to kill? where does it say thou shall not suffer a witch to live and that a woman is the translation of this? Also, why would you say that Adam would have been black and Eve white? Excuse me- albino and the blackest man ever to exist. And read Leviticus-

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.” (18:22)

“If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death; their blood is upon them.” (20:13)

I'm not sure where you got your ideas from, but you might want to check out a good KJV and read with some study help...sounds like you could use it.

One does not know the skin color of Adam and Eve...none of us were around back then and God doesn't record it in His word.

God DOES tell us witchcraft is wrong and not to tolerate it. It doesn't say that if a woman thinks, kill her... Quite the opposite..women are given a good place in the NT...a good Christian woman can move mountains with a calm voice and well thought out wording and actions that show Christian living. If you have never seen it, hang out with solid Christian couples, and you'll notice the women are treated like queens in the relationship, not treated as you have mentioned. Good Christian men KNOW how to treat a woman.

The 10 Commandments are in the OT and the NT, and murder is murder regardless..

As for the rest of your statements, you have no foundation for them, and they seem to come of your own hatred for certain races.

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live and a woman thinking are two different things.

The opinion of anyone here at Y/A has no bearing on anything.

It's what God says that counts.

But then that would only be in the eyes of someone that believes.

If you want to understand the Bible you need to read it from God's point of view, and that's not necessarily your own point of view, right?
From God's point of view witchcraft is evil and He (God) is referring to the laws under which the pre-Christian Hebrew's lived. The word, “witch” occurs in two Bible verses.
**Exd 22:18 ~ Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
**Deut 18:10 ~ There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
In Hebrew the word for “witch” is: kashaph {kaw-shaf'} meaning sorcerer or sorceress or witch; i.e. One who practices or uses witchcraft or sorcery (either male or female). It does not refer to a woman who merely has her own thoughts.
><
What does the bible say about homosexuality? One reference can be found in Leviticus.
**Lev 20:13 ~ If a man also lie (has sexual relations) with mankind, as he lieth (has sexual relations) with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.
The Hebrew word for "Abomination" means "a disgusting thing, abomination, abominable" ~ b) in ethical sense (of wickedness etc)...especially things that are made impure by the decrees of religion.
><
A final note: The Bible differentiates between murder and execution even as our own legal system does. The Bible is remarkably consistant; there is no basis herein for a charge of hypocrisy

In Romans 1:26-32 says that homosexuality and murder and many other things we do is wrong. Mixed marriages are only wrong if a person gives up their beliefs to be with another person (Check out Ezra chapter 9)

You are right. Love is love. We should love one another but God expects us to change after finding him, even if that means giving up a sin we love because we are supposed to love him more. God made the BIGGEST sacrifice for us why can't we sacrifice something of ours for him? Jesus told his disciples to leave all their possessions-even their families-to follow him and they did.

No we aren't perfect. We can't be we are just humans but God still loves us. That is why Jesus came.

Go back to Exodus and look at the Ten Commandments, you'll see one that says "You shall not kill". The original Hebrew word meant "murder". In fact, some newer translations of the Bible actually say that....."You shall not murder".
