I've seen really smart people on this site and really dumb ones. Even most 6 yr olds have better grammer and 8 yr olds spell better than some of the things I've seen here. I know no one is perfect but these are on the simple spellings and grammer. Is this a trend for the future?

From what I have heard, There is concern in th US because there is a lot of student dropouts, in school and in college. There seems to be a growing interest in finding a job fast and earning money than to progress intellectually (Although current education can sometimes be the contrary). There are more and more foreign students in higher education (Masters, Doctorates, PhD, etc...). I wouldn't be surprised if the day of tomorrow the all American citizen works in MacDonald's preparing hamburgers while Orientals, Arabs, Indians, Latins (just to name a few) are the new Business and Scientific leaders in the US.

America has become really dumbed down. Too bad. I guess we've become a nation of spoiled brats and nobody wants to apply themselves to anything rigorous.
