An employee at work did not pass his drug test and he say that his wife smokes all the time in the house and that is the only way that it could have showed up in his test. What do you think.

Drug tests are not 100 percent accurate. There is always a margin of error. Even at the lab doing the test on the samples, someone could make a mistake.

That is a very old excuse. Ever hear of " guilty by association"? If you were in a room and everyone was smoking pot, you were too or why else would you have been there with a bunch of people that were high?
NO, I don't believe him. If it were true he should have stayed away from his wife knowing he was going in for a drug test. Now neither one of them are working? Good! They won't have money for drugs.

It would have to be a really small room, and a whole lot of pot over a pretty long time frame. My husband smokes quite a bit around me, our home is not that big, and I always pass my tests. It sounds like a cop out to me, but who knows? Maybe they should give him a lie detector test next (just kidding there!).

Absolutely. Even if you are not smoking and in a closed room where people are you are still inhaling the smoke. Of course if your not a pot smoker it won't hang around long in your system but I am not surprised it showed up. THC is what they look for and that in ingested into your lungs and blood as you smoke. So an innocent bystander will be affected, they are still breathing it in.

Depends..... I think you will test positive for marijuana in that situation.... BUT......... I smoked all the time in front of my buddy and he was on probation, but he never dropped dirty i would drink plenty of water just to make sure...... But you should be OK after a couple of days.....

yes, it will show up in a drug test.best bet is to leave the party as soon as the losers light up or bring out any kind of illegal substances.

well from what rehab people have told be and it was in regards to my son they said you cannot fail a drug test that way others have also said you cant also sorry

the same thing happened to me. i was just hanging around some friends who did it and i tested positive for it
