yes but not at first they go through stages of liking each other having mixed up feelings and tension then after all that has passed for both of them a friendship occurs and is very possible

Yes they can! Why would you think otherwise? I had a man friend for 30 years.Nothing ever happened between us.He came to me with life's little problems and I poured my heart out to him, we would even see a movie together, or go to a carnival, after all these years his wife passed away (it was like losing a sister) and my husband passed away last year. We are the best of friends for life.It's not that uncomman, I know others who have had similar friendships, maybe not as long as ours., but they have to start somewhere. Yes, they can for sure. It has happened with me many times. Even if you are attracted to the person sometimes you just realize that a true friendship is more important than messing it up with romance or sex at the wrong time.

Yes it is possible. I have even had male roomates and not become emotionally invested in them. It is all a matter of maturity and mentality...you don't have to open yourself up emotionally to every person you know.

Not if you feel a sexual attraction.......things will eventually lead to one thing or another. The only way you can remain friends is if the girl is a tom boy and acts like it too, unless the guy is into that?

Sure they can. Get a gay guy for a friend. They make girls the best friends. They don't expect anything from you and they are great pals.

You can. I mean I have guy friends. But I would of never dated them. Even before I meet my hubby. I had a lot more guy friends. But to date them is a different story.

sometimes- I know in many cases, one person develops feelings for the other at some stage. It depends on whether they are acted upon.
