I think the song hits home for a lot of people. It's a great song and I love the lyrics. It makes me think.

yes I get emotional over that song.
it makes me think of the fact that my kids father ruined me for anyone wonderful. I don't trust anyone and I am 35 and have yet to have a normal relationship with trust since then, that was 14 years ago.

I get emotional hearing that song and some of her othr songs. She is a very good singer

she has an acoustic/live version of 'behind these hazel eyes' that totally blows me away with her artistic ability.. like mariah carey.. but with a lot more uhh.. charachter. 'Because of you' is said to be some kind of testamonial towards her father/family and her way of venting about childhood frustration and her views on her upbringing.. and she is very passionate in her individuality and the way she presents her music .. I like it... a lot
