16-oz can refried beans
3-4 ripe avocados, peeled and mashed
1 T. Lemon juice
1 packet taco seasoning
1-1/2 C. Sour cream
3-4 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 lg. Can sliced olives, drained and rinsed
1/2 onion, chopped
2-3 C. Shreddedcheddar cheese
Directions
Spread refried beans in a 9x13" Glass casserole dish.
Add lemon juice to the avocados and spread over the beans.
In a bowl, mix together the sour cream and taco seasoning.
Spread over the avocado mixture.
Sprinkle on the tomatoes, then the onions, then the olive.
Cover with shredded cheddar cheese.
Chill 1-2 hours before serving with tortilla chips

You should have mostly foods that your son can eat and other people would eat. Like for your son probably soft food like macaroni anything. Maybe even pizza or maybe any kind of pizza. But don't just think of the people their think of the birthday boy too. I figure he doesn't have many teeth, probably just one. So you might want to make him mashed potatoes or something like that.

Make some baked beans and add some cut up hotdogs, the adults and other kids will love it! Also, you can make one of the fruit trays, or fruit platters with some nice cream cheese dip, or you can make your own by using some vanilla yogurt and mixing a tablespoon of cinnamon and brown sugar with it.

Have you thought of maybe little ceaser's 5 dollar pizza.. If that doesn't work you can always make a big pot of sloopy joes that is always a hit.. Or you could buy some tortino's pizza rolls kids love those..

make pigs in a blanket.. take mini hotdogs and roll them in uncooked biscuits and bake in the oven till the biscuits are done
