All those people that were being held And apparently being Humiliated by US Forces.
Are alive. a few bruises and cuts. and a bit of humiliation. But they can go back home.
and be treated as hero's of the cause.
The US soldiers cant come back home becuse they were murdred. I would swop What the US forces did to me. Rather than spend 5 minutes with those B*****Ds that are TERRORISTS.

We are a nation of ethics and moral.... just ask the ACLU. Just don't ask them to defend this country.... they don't have the stomach for it. And please don't waste your time asking Doctors Without Borders, the International Red Cross, Human Rights Watch or the UN Special Council on Human Rights. Murderers on death row.... sure.... Child molesters.... why not.... terrorist... of course, they deserve a good defense and lots of understanding. But a Soldier... the very person that enforces thier right to defend burners of the Flag of the United States.... they won't even give it a thought. And the funny thing is that US Soldiers are expected to protect these same folks when they travel abroad.

It is I the Soldier, not the politician, who gave you the right to vote..... it is I the Soldier, not the lawyer, who gave you the right to competant legal representation.... it is I the Soldier, not the pastor, who gave you the right to worship as you see fit.... it is I the Soldier, not the news reporter, who gave you the right to free speech. And it is I the Soldier who will gladly give my life so you can burn the Flag of this great nation in protest, no matter how much I may disagree with you. I give my life defending human rights... I do not recieve the pay, benefits or notoriety of those "other people".... and I may be ridiculed in public because you do not like the politics of the government I have sworn to protect. But without me... you have nothing guaranteed.... you have no legitimate right to anything... But when people with no morals, ethics or scrupples disregard human dignity, we procecute them.... they celebrate them. So just who is that is being accurately portrayed here.... the vilianous US Military or the cowardly terrorist and insurgents??

But remember that when my comrades fall, are captured, tortured and mistreated at the hands of those who would see your freedoms and liberty destroyed... I mourn for them. I loose my brother or sister. Thier burden is transfered to me. I am the sworn protector of thier dream, thier honor.

I am the United States Military... there is no other military on this planet that can do what we can.

Well, bush won't tell the UN or let the Red Cross see his prisoners in his secret camps.

What do you find so surprising? The marines have been murdering non combatant Iraqi's for 7 months, including 3 year olds!

Where was your concern then?

Where is your concern about the secret CIA camps, some in Poland!

You can't violate the Geneva Conventions and expect anyone else to go by them.

This was payback! You can't have it both ways!!!

Yes it was payback for the Marines murdering Iraqi's. When is the last time anyhing like this has happen to a US serviceman???

There should be an outcry today from all Americans including the mainstream media and the anti-war lefties in Congress and elsewhere, who have made such noise regarding "inhumane" treatment of captured soldiers or insurgents at Guantanamo or any other place where they are held captive. Can you imagine the outcry there would be today if the situation were reversed? I doubt we will hear the same intensity in their voices or in their printed words regarding these two soldiers. We thank them for their ultimate sacrifice. We pray that God will uphold and provide strength for their families in this difficult time and in the days ahead. May God bless their memory. Let us continue to support and remember our soldiers in your prayers each day.

Because the majority of the "Human Rights and Peace" movement do not actually give a rats *** about Iraqi's or Guantanamo prisoners or CIA torture flights.

Those things just give them the opportunity to be smug middle class psuedo intellectuals and rip into their own government and military all the time because it makes them feel superior.

For the vast majority of these liberals, its a fashion statement and expressing horror when the enemy does something bad just doesnt fit the fashion.

sure, easily,as David H so rightly factors out the human rights law is getting used against common sense and actual justice. If somebody denies yet somebody else human rights then theirs must be forfeit as component of their punishment and this could positioned a stp to maximum of criminals making use of H.R attorneys to cut back to rubble the equipment. Take the case of Muslim hate preacher Sheik Salad,an exclusion order replace into in place yet he got here back into this u . s . a .,replace into arrested and a deportation order issued yet he refused to conform with this and appealed and now he's out on bail making use of attorneys paid by making use of the tax payer, why replace into he no longer in user-friendly terms forcibly deported, why is he allowed to tie up the entire justice equipment,he does not look after all of us else's human rights so why ought to we difficulty approximately his,it truly is insanity and can be stopped.

EXACTLY! YOU ARE RIGHT! But you know what the media is gonna say? "Oh, it's a shame and it's casualties of war. They died honorably in the line of duty." But I agree 100% with what you're saying. I hope like heck they catch these guys. You know what? When they catch these guys, the heck with interrogation! Bullet right through the forehead and be done with it! No questions asked!

A better question to ask is why did bush sent our troops to war that was based on lies?

It's not the human rights people the need to asked about, its the bush crime family that needs to be questioned.
