I know I want those names I’m just not sure in what order. I notice in my research that the name Nevaeh is a very controversy name a lot of people disagree w/ that name, but yet a lot of people love it. And I know some people have trouble pronouncing it. My main idea was to name her Nevaeh Angelene, but because of the reason above I’m not sure anymore. Then my husband said he likes Angelene Nevaeh but I would like to know what other people think

Angelene Nevaeh rolls off the tongue better, but Nevaeh is prettier as a first name than Angelene... it's a tough decision. Decide which sounds better with your last name, and that could be the deal breaker.

Good luck, congrats!

Um neither, they both sound a little OUT THERE. Angelene Nevaeh is probably better. If you call her angelene she'll probably get called Angie alot though, do you like that name? if you go the other way, most people will pronounce her name wrong so.... your stuck...

If it HAS to be both of those names then I'd say "Angelene Nevaeh" sounds better. Be prepared for the "Angie" thing to come up in her later years!

Angelene Nevaeh. I can envision your daughter ten years later with the school nickname "Navel," or worse "Fuzzy Navel," or something to that effect, if it's the other way around.

What does each name mean? What is the significance of each name? My name means faithful leader/ruler in the combination I prefer.Even when reversed, my birth/first name is leader.A name has a personality or stereotype. There may be some good Damons or Damiens and some Shantells may be sane or sensible (no offence meant to those with the names mentioned) but in 38 years of teaching some names have a certain vibe. I have met one Shantell who was different because she wrote poetry and enjoyed writing. Her parents were supportive and Christian regarding her upbringing. My present Shantell is Dr Jekylls and Mr Hyde I love her for she has a bright spark and is very good on her good days. She knows what I tolerate and that I care about her well-being..Ask yourself if a name is just an appellation or if it is more. What do you and your husband want as a vibe for your daughter when you name her? Think about it.

I think they're both pretty. My first thought on pronouncing Nevaeh would be like "nev-ee-ah" so if that's not right and it will bug you if people pronounce it that way, I'd go with the other.

The whole "Navaeh" thing has gotten trite, but it's your kid.
I'd go with that as a middle name so she can keep it hidden.
