When a king makes a law and then takes it back, the king might as well say, "okay, I didn't mean what I said. I'm a stupid idiot and my word is not worth being law..." or something like that. Read the whole story of Daniel in the Lion's Den to understand more about that concept.
His idea for making the law in the first place was to instill a standard of righteousness in his chosen people (the Israelites). The Law was meant to be a governing order, not a burdensome clinical way of dealing with God. So in order to get rid of Sin and the Law, both of which were plaguing the conscience of his people, God came down to earth in the form of a Man...and I'm sure you can take it from there.
As for praying to himself...read the part where he raised Lazarus from the dead. The simple answer is that he prayed in order to show man how to interact with God.

According to your calculations, then there is no more God because Jesus and God canceled each other out, or God had a split personalities, one moment God is Jesus and another moment Jesus is God. I'm confused now, I thought Jesus was a son of God, but how did God screw Virgin Mary if He stayed up there most of the time, unless God's penis is 12 miles long hanging from the sky searching for Mary's (you know what)

I'm sure there is a more "fundie christian" answer, but if our tiny brains can figure out God then we are superior and thus have no need for God.
Imagine yourself as a goldfish in a fish tank...you see the human feed you at wierd intervals (sometimes your starving and he doesn't feed you and other times your not hungry and he dumps half a can of food in the bowl) and then he takes some of your water out just to give you more water a few seconds later...what's that about?!?! There is no way a fish could ever understand that a human has to work late sometimes, that he forgets to get fish food, that the tank is stinky so it needs to be cleaned, etc. He could never understand the life, abilities and knowledge of a human even if it were explained to him in detail dozens of times.
For the record I think God loves these kinds of questions - I don't believe He wanted us to be mindless robots that just automatically believed in Him---He gave us free will.
May God richly bless you!!!!!

Jesus did not died on the cross to change any laws He made. His laws still stand the same to this day. Jesus died on the cross to save our souls from death and hell through salvation and acceptiance of Jesus as our Savior. He gave eveyone the same opportunity to choose to accpet Jesus or not. God is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

God became man and the man had to conjoin back to God.
The temporary situation of the Truth being partially separated from the Good was ended at glorification.
Now God is visible in God's own body called the Divine Human.
The "Son of God" in the Bible refers to God's Divine Human form.

There was no law changing. God's law says that the penalty of sin is death. He came down to pay that penalty for you. As for the praying, don't you need self encouragement too?

great question. why even people call him God? bcoz he claimed so?
did he expicitly did that? or bcoz he was born without father? Adam was born without father and mother? Adam is God? bcoz he is ressuracted? We all will be resurracted? We are all GOD?
Bcoz he's alive? Elijah is also alive? Elizah is God? Bcoz he performed miracles? Lot's of prophets before him did that?
Are they God? Bcoz some specific miracles? Define what miracles will or won't made someone God? PROFOUND STUPIDITY.

Very few things in the bible make much sense. That's why true believers need faith. Faith is what allows people to swallow tremendous lies without even blinking. Just look at the last US presidential election.
