why dont you tell them that you would pay for half of it, that way they believe that you are actually responsible enough to have a car...before that sorry public transport is gonna have to do...

Why should Mommy and Daddy GIVE their little princess a car?
I just love how kids feel like they are owed something just because they are alive. Gimme a friggin break.
Get a job, show some responsibility, and EARN some money to buy your own car, pay for your own insurance, and pay for your own fuel.
You dont NEED a car, you just WANT one.
I'd bet even if they gave you one on a silver platter, you'd still complain because it wasn't the right type, or color.
Grow up.

Get a job and remember, insurance for your age group is over 1000 a year. So remember to get a job that actually pays a lot. And gas is about $3.00 a gallon. A good car can be gotten for about $5000, if you have a good friend who is a mechanic, you can find a workable car for $3000.

First of all,how old are?If you're 15 or under maybe that's why they won't buy you the car.But if you're 16+,tell them to buy you a Beetle from a VW dealership,that's the cheapest car I can think of.
