My daughter (9) got this recipe from her health class and made this tonight - it worked very well and she loved that she'd done the cooking herself.
1/2 lb ground turkey
1 chopped red pepper
1 tbsp paprika
2 cups chicken broth
14 oz can chopped tomatoes
2 cups macaroni
1 1/2 cup broccoli
1 cup cauliflower
Saute the turkey for 2 mins. Add the pepper and paprika and saute for another 2 mins. Stir in the broth, tomatoes, and macaroni. Decorate the top with the broccoli and cauliflower pieces. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes (until all the liquid is absorbed.)

Turkey and mashed potato pie: 1 lb ground turkey 1 egg 1/3 cup diced onion 1/4 cup diced celery 15 saltine crackers, crushed Salt and pepper to taste 3 cups prepared mashed potatoes (leftovers are fine) 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Mix turkey, onion, celery egg, and cracker crumbs in a large bowl. Press this turkey crust into a 9" microwave pie plate. . Nuke 5 to 7 minutes until done. Fill with mashed potatoes. Top with cheese and bake at 350 until the cheese is melted and the potatoes are heated through. (About 30 minutes). Note: I use crackers with unsalted tops. If you use regular saltines, then I wouldn't add extra salt. Note: I sometimes put a layer of chopped frozen spinach between the turkey and mashed potato layers, although the original recipe doesn't call for it.

Texas Turkey Burgers
Spicy Tex-Mex flavors deliver superb flavor to ground turkey burgers. Preparation is equally easy whether done under the broiler or on the grill.
1pound ground turkey or chicken
1/2cup barbecue sauce
1can 4.5 ounces) Old El Paso® chopped green chiles, drained
4slices (1 ounce each) Monterey Jack cheese with jalapeño peppers
4hamburger buns, split
1 . Mix turkey, barbecue sauce and chilies. Shape mixture into 4 patties, each about 3/4 inch thick.
2 . Set oven control to broil. Place patties on rack in broiler pan. Broil with tops about 3 inches from heat 10 to 14 minutes, turning once, until turkey is no longer pink in center. About 1 minute before burgers are done, top each with cheese slice. Broil until cheese is melted.
Grilling Directions: Grill patties covered 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 14 to 16 minutes, turning once, until turkey is no longer pink in center. About 1 minute before burgers are done, top each with cheese slice. Grill until cheese is melted.
