I'd have to say it's a tie. I've never been outside of North America...

Tie between when we drove around Alberta. We stopped in several cities in BC, our car broke down, we visited relatives in Calgary and Edmonton, and we went to Drumheller! The museum was amazing. Then we went to Prince George and visited more relatives, and had a fantastic time.

The other time was when we drove to Disneyland. It took a couple days, but WOW! Was it ever awesome. California Adventure was fun too, and we got to participate in the Parade of Lights! (I don't remember the real name of it, I'd have to look at my Mum's souvenir shirt) We went to San Fransisco for a day, so it took us three days to drive back... but I would definitely go again.

My best vacation was in Thailand, I had my love with me at my side and you can't beat that. But I'd have to say the coolest place I've ever gone is Athens, Greece. You can do anything there. The coolest part is you can spend all day looking at ancient ruins dating past 500 AD then spend your evening in the 21 century. Great food, great people, beautiful beaches, night markets, day cruises, and its cheap!! The water is crystal clear and you can see 10 feet below the water no problem. All the tours are just a day's drive and the history is something you'll never be able to see anywhere else. Good luck!

The best holiday I ever had was in the Orkneys - I spent 3 weeks on an archaeological dig on this little island called Papa Stronsay, which is now owned by monks bizarrely enough...We stayed on Stronsay, which had 2 shops and a pub and I can honestly say I had the best time ever with a whole bunch of archaeologists, plenty of seaside walks and a lot of cider!

We took a cruise to The Caymans, Belize and
Costa Maya. It was the best cruise we have been on. It was so beautiful and peaceful. And, of course the food was marvelous. There is nothing more relaxing than cruising, in my opinion. You can stay as busy or lazy as you wish.
