I think it is not a good idea to have a roommate of the opposite sex unless it is someone you know very well. In your situation i think it would be hard for a potential girlfriend to understand and could be the source of a lot of jeaolousy. So, unless you have a completely plutonic relationship with the girl and find a girlfriend that is cool with it, it will probably be more trouble than its worth. Also if you bring your girlfriend around your roommate a lot and she sees how you are together and it is strictly friends it could work.

Getting a roomate of the opposite sex is just asking for trouble. You'll have all sorts of gender identity issues, tension and problems.

It is not a bad idea to have rm of op sex as long as the bills get paid and you have a place to stay. If the women are secure w/ themselves they shouldn't have anything to worry about.

naw it aint a bad idea ull experience a new friend and all maybe even have benifits who knows but girls really wudnt get intimidated unless there jealous just try a new thing

Alot may be intimidated. Even if the two of your are supposedly just friends. Unless you guys are related or one of you is gay, then I suggest to not do it if you plan on bringing female to your home.

its just not a good move. you already have doubting thoughts about it. you know what is right for you.
if your roommate is attractive in any way, girls will have a problem with it. if theres absolutely no chance of attraction, then its a go-ahead, if u must.
