How do I attach wooden train tracks to a particle board train table mat?

I have seen wood glue used, and also a screw that goes down far enough into the track so the train doesn't run over it.

Screw from underneath throw the particle board into the track, use glue too, added extra strength.

use screws... they will pull off anything you try to glue.
