Age is the number of times you've rotated around the sun since you were born. Do you think it really matters? why or why not?

It depends on the circumstance.
It matters for voting, age of consent, drinking age, ability to enter binding contracts, who can play on certain age group little league teams, yes there are a slew of implications where age is a factor.

Yes it does matter in some cases. Okay - a 25 year old dating a 16 year old, that is a problem. It is a 9 year gap. But, when someone is 30 dating a 39 year old, it's no big deal. However, there are issues of maturity and social conscience. Meaning, what kind of a fulfilling relationship and conversation can a 30 year old have with someone who is 18?
It would be legal, yet very strange, for a young person, we'll say 21, be dating someone in their 60's. So yes my friend, age does matter at times.

some of us have rotated more times than others so we need to let them rotate at least 18 times before we show any interest in them.

It only matters where experience counts. The older you are, the more time you've spent attending the 'school of hard knocks'.

It's more about maturity level. When I was 26, I dated a 42 year old, and we broke up over his immaturity. I've only seriously dated men who are younger than me since then and my husband is a year and a half younger.
