what's the side effect of having the Bartholin Gland Removed?

its there any difference during intercourse ? is it painfull? will i still lubricated?

If you are having the gland removed because of constant infections then it will not change anything with sex..It's a gland that helps drainage just as there are glands in your armpits..I work with women who come for frequent Bartholin Gland infections that eventually have what is called "marsupiliation" which as you said the gland is removed..there is no problems afterword except no more trips to the ER for I & D...
