Benedryl is good. If you are not use to taken medicine.....only take one otherwise more than that will knock you out even though its non-drowsy. They also have this in a liquid form. Also walmart you know have they own version of everything. If you have any questions.....ask the pharmacist.

I've been on almost every allergy medicine perscription and OTC. Unfortunately, most, even the non-drowsy formulas knock me out. I found the Wal-Mart Equate Brand Dayhist works the best to quell the symptoms and doesn't make me wanky or fall asleep. It is way less expensive than most of the other stuff I've tried, too.

Claritin is one OTC and it works well without a drowsiness side effect. This drug used to be only available by presciption but changed over about 2 years ago or so. They have a tablet and a Redi-tab (the kind that dissolves in your nouth). Both work well. Also, be carful about Claritin vs. Claritin-D. Claritin D would be the way to go if you are really stuffy, otherwise Claritin without D is the way to go for everyday runny eyes, runny nose, itchy eyes, etc. symptoms.
